BRAND ORIGIN

Jay Zhu founded SCHWER after witnessing a worker injured by inadequate hand protection during a factory visit. The name comes from German — schwer, meaning heavy, difficult, serious. It's a promise: gear built for the toughest jobs.

Our R&D team studied real work scenarios — construction sites, metal shops, oilfields — to engineer gloves that workers actually keep on. Every design starts with the hazard, the hand, and the shift.
